About This Game OverviewCan you imagine having other people live inside your head? The protagonist of this story, Dorothy Watson, is a 14-year-old girl who just started middle school. From the outside she looks like a normal teenager but she has scars and pains that most children don’t have. Dorothy experienced trauma as a child and developed dissociative identity disorder, commonly known as multiple personality disorder, which split her into several personalities.Alice, who’s as innocent as a child but sees things that others cannot.Gretel, whose blinding rage makes her wary of everyone.Cindy, always positive and outgoing, who doesn’t really like Dorothy for being an introvert. If you don’t help her, Dorothy might not be able to adjust to her new life.Fortunately there’s still hope. You have the power to talk to the different personalities including Dorothy, when Dorothy is asleep. In her Dream Space, you can become the counsellor for Dorothy and the other kids. Use your power to integrate the split personalities into Dorothy. But do be careful! The personalities are very sensitive to your questions and answers. One wrong answer can drive the wedge between you and them, tearing the kids apart beyond repair. Dorothy’s life is in your hands and your choices will have direct impact on her.Remember only you can save Dorothy! How to playYou will become a counsellor and talk to 4 personalities once per week in Dorothy’s dream. Counselling will begin after Dorothy tells you about the events that happened to her in real life during that week. When Dorothy’s story is finished, you can choose who you want to talk to. When you take your pick, the personality will start talking first and then you can choose how you want to respond. Real life events as well as your responses to the personalities will determine Dorothy’s stress level and the personalities’ integrity level. Your goal is to max out the integrity level for Alice, Gretel and Cindy before Dorothy’s stress level maxes out. This game has 6 endings in total. It really challenges you to think about your choices as you talk to the different girls. You might think a choice is good only to find out it's the wrong one. But not in a way that's frustrating. It's in a way you can understand after you realize it was the wrong choice. I like the art and I like the UI. The only thing that's a con for me is that the music doesn't loop well and it's a little annoying. But it's the only flaw in an otherwise very interesting game. I hope this developer releases another game.. Well presented interactive story that is over very quickly. It takes 2 or 3 attempts to work out how to "talk" to the personalities and get the "right" ending, but after that first 30 mins you are only really "working the system" to get all the available endings and achievements. The negative review is slightly harsh because of the originality, but If there was more content, or more stories it'll be worth it, but it's slightly overpriced as it is.. I am moved by this game within 1 hour. Worth the time.. Addictive and engrossing! I got really absorbed in her story and different characters, and in trying to find the right solutions for different endings. It was fun to work out how the game works and to slolwly learn new aspects of her background. Really in-depth and thorough story. Highly recommended!. This was a nice surprise. It's small indie story driven game with simple mechanics but a deep and touching plot that present some rather mature themes. I got this game on sale and wasn't really expecting much but it turned out to be very well written. From the gameplay perspective, there isn't really much to it but it works fine: you act like a therapist for a girl with dissociative disorder and her three other personalities (representing anger, vanity and immaturity). On each session, you are given some background of what has happened lately and you chat with the girls accordingly. Since there are different lines of dialogues to chose from, there is much replay value (it took me less than 4 h to get all endings), and, since the story of why the other personalities came into existence is pretty interesting (it deals with depression, anger, psychological abuse, delusion, etc., but the story is better off left unspoiled) I would really recommend it.Pros: + Interesting story (I liked the way they were presented in short bits of dialogue, and not in order)+ Mature themes are addressed correctly+ Replay value+ Nice artwork (although there are few different images)Cons:- Limited gameplay mechanics- No way to speak multiple dialogues- Short (although it seems to have the right length). It's a cute and wholesome game. While talking to the girls it challenge you have to think about the choices you're making while talking to them. Tbh, some of their faces creeped the heck out of me.. Who am I was a really touching and unique text adventure. It makes good use of fairy tales to express Dorothy's trauma. I don't know if it is an accurate portrayal of dissociative identity disorder or not but it was a fascinating approach to the subject. It is challenging without being frustrating to balance Dorothy's feelings and those of her three other personalities in order to get the ending you want. The truth of her past is revealed little by little throughout each story path so it really is worth it to do all of them.A short, sometimes sad but also beautiful little game.. I took some time after completing this game because I wanted to make sure my review serves this amazing game justice. This game is a fabulous look at the inner workings of a young girl with Dissociative Identity Disorder (Split Personality Disorder). Even without that fact it is an amazing exploration of a troubled girls mind. By exploring her life from four separate views you are able to piece together on your own about the truths of her life. The main narrative is laid out but the storytelling is so deep that you can discover so much more about Dorothy and her life (I actually love the whole literary theme as well. It is very well implemented).I'm not going to lie, this game made me cry. I was so invested in Dorothy's success that when she finally finds happiness I could help it. Going through all the options is rewarding even after you've finished the main story. There's so much to explore especially with the price tag.I only had one off moment in the whole experience and it was solved within the narrative so it isn't even a complaint as it was intentional. This game is unique in both style and content. It's really inspired me as a writer and I would highly recommend this game to anyone wanting to explore a rich and rewarding story.. This was a nice surprise.
